After a long day in the car, all I need is a walk. The City Park in Spearfish has a wonderful bike path that winds past the campground and part of the way up into the canyon. If you like biking, rollerblading, skateboarding, or just hoofing it: this exquisite path is open year round. In the winter, snow drapes over the path. In the fall, the leaves will delight any onlooker, and if its summer or spring you’ll see lush greenery. Just be sure to bring your camera, as you may run into some baby deer along the way.
